Current work: Cyprus
Work inspired by Richard's time living in Cyprus as a boy, where his family had a flat on the seafront of what is now the Forbidden Zone. No-one has lived there for 50 years.
Forbidden Zone
Richard lived in Famagusta, Cyprus 50 years ago. No one has lived there since then. He has recently been able to revisit the deserted streets to draw and paint.

This is the flat we rented. It has stood empty, quietly disintegrating, for 50 years.
